EN Publishing is preparing to release D&D ShortQuests on Kickstarter next month. The collection features five digest-sized adventures for Dungeons & Dragons, each designed for one to two game sessions. These modules aim to assist Dungeon Masters facing unexpected plot disruptions.
EN Publishing has announced that its D&D ShortQuests will arrive on Kickstarter in March. This set includes five compact adventures tailored for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, offering quick solutions for Dungeon Masters who need to improvise after players derail the main storyline, such as by eliminating a key non-player character.
The adventures are:
- "The Business of Emotion" by Paul Oklesh, for levels 2-3.
- "The Haunting of Calrow Ruins" by Aaron Infante-Levy, for levels 2-4.
- "Winterheart" by Esper, for level 4.
- "Croaking Sirocco" by Kyle Carty, for level 5.
- "Don't Wake Dretchlor" by Kiel Chenier, for levels 5-7.
Each module is digest-sized, making them portable and easy to integrate into ongoing campaigns. The project targets players seeking short, self-contained stories that fit into 1-2 sessions. Details on the Kickstarter campaign, including funding goals and stretch rewards, have not yet been disclosed in the announcement.
This release comes amid growing interest in modular D&D content, providing tools for flexible storytelling in tabletop role-playing games.
