Fourth annual Rev It Up for Autism fundraiser returns in 2026

The fourth annual Rev It Up for Autism event is scheduled for April 18, 2026, at Auburn City Park in Logan County. This community fundraiser features classic cars, music, food, and family activities to raise awareness and funds for children with autism. Proceeds will support free camps at The Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville.

The Rev It Up for Autism event began four years ago as a small car show and auction organized by community members to support children on the autism spectrum. It has since grown into a larger fundraiser, becoming a local spring tradition that draws crowds to Auburn City Park.

Set for Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event aims to raise awareness about autism and generate funds for families. All proceeds go directly to The Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, which offers specialized, free camps and programs for children facing serious illnesses, disabilities, and challenges, including autism. These camps provide outdoor recreation, friendship-building, and tailored activities, easing financial burdens for families.

Organizers highlight the event's impact, noting that past funds have enabled children to attend camps where they feel included and supported. This year's lineup includes a car show featuring classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles; craft and food vendors; a cornhole tournament; live and silent auctions; and bounce houses for children. Live music will run throughout the day, with Clay Bilyeu performing from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by Fortner Brothers for Christ from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Community participation is key, with opportunities to enter vehicles, vend, donate auction items, volunteer, or sponsor. Interested parties can contact Jessica Schoby at 270-731-9166 or jessicaschoby58@gmail.com, or reach Jessica Lash Schoby on Facebook. Organizers' goal is to raise enough to ensure any interested child can attend camp, fostering community support for affected families.
