Kid Cudi has debuted a new collaboration with Off-White, featuring a customized chunky white Out of Office sneaker, graphic hoodies, and t-shirts. Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week and via moody black-and-white online campaign images, the collection honors the late Virgil Abloh. Release and pricing details are pending.
Kid Cudi, known as Scott Mescudi, has launched a collaboration with Off-White, the streetwear brand founded in 2013 by his late friend Virgil Abloh. The capsule reimagines Off-White's Out of Office skate shoe—a chunky silhouette inspired by 1980s-1990s tennis shoes—with a white-on-white leather upper, modular architectural paneling forming geometric shapes on the lateral side, contrast stitching, and a dark gray outsole for durability. Personalized details include a transformed oversized arrow motif with sprouting arms.
Complementing the footwear are oversized hoodies and t-shirts with co-branding, bold lettering such as 'Focus' and 'Artist' in parentheses, illustrative artwork on the back, and circular dot patterns resembling typography. The dark, introspective aesthetic blends Off-White's streetwear DNA with Cudi's artistic vision, presented in moody black-and-white photography.
Cudi debuted the pieces during Paris Fashion Week, modeling them around the city on cobblestone sidewalks, with images later surfacing online to build anticipation. The partnership reflects the duo's shared history in Kanye West's circle, including Abloh's designs for Cudi's album 'Leader of the Delinquents' and Cudi's appearance in Abloh's Louis Vuitton show. Off-White was sold by LVMH to Bluestar Alliance in 2024; Ib Kamara is the current art and image director.
No official release date or pricing has been announced, with further updates expected.
