MSC Cruises has unveiled redesigned restaurants and expanded amenities for its MSC Yacht Club across the Fantasia-class fleet. The upgrades aim to provide a more exclusive and luxurious experience for guests. New curated voyages in the Mediterranean and South America will showcase these enhancements starting in 2025.
MSC Cruises is reinforcing its ship-within-a-ship luxury concept through a series of updates to the MSC Yacht Club. The company has confirmed a full redesign of Yacht Club restaurants on Fantasia-class ships, with the changes already implemented on MSC Splendida. The new design features darker tones, soft tactile finishes, and sophisticated lighting to create an intimate coastal restaurant atmosphere, enhancing privacy and ocean views. Seating has been reconfigured for quieter corners, and materials evoke modern boutique hotels. Menus emphasize Mediterranean flavors with seasonal and regionally inspired dishes, accompanied by expanded wine selections and flexible service hours coordinated with butler teams.
These redesigns will roll out gradually during scheduled dry docks, with completion expected through 2026, 2027, and 2028. MSC Splendida serves as the reference for adjustments in table spacing and ambient sound levels before fleetwide implementation.
Alongside the restaurants, MSC is refreshing other Yacht Club amenities, including private lounges, sun decks, pools, butler service, priority embarkation, premium drinks, and Wi-Fi, all included in the fare. Redesigned Future Cruise offices near Yacht Club areas feature larger windows and lounge seating to integrate trip planning into the leisure experience. The company is also adding suites on ships like MSC Magnifica and MSC Poesia, alongside updated spas, fitness facilities, and outdoor spaces to support longer voyages and repeat guests.
To highlight these improvements, MSC has planned curated itineraries. In the Mediterranean, MSC Splendida will offer seven-night sailings from Barcelona in winter 2025 and early 2026, visiting Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Palermo, and La Goulette. In South America, eight- and nine-night voyages from Buenos Aires are scheduled for late 2026 to early 2027, exploring Patagonian coastlines, historic cities, and resort towns. These routes balance destination variety with onboard experiences, including regionally matched menus and small-group excursions.
The enhancements position the Yacht Club as a comprehensive luxury option amid growing competition in the premium cruise market, targeting guests seeking personalized service on larger vessels.
