George Mason, last year's men's runner-up, leads in the 60m hurdles with Jayden Smith and the pole vault with Walt Bannerman, who set the A-10 record at 5.21m during the previous championship. Other men's teams include VCU, Fordham, Saint Joseph's, Saint Louis, Loyola Chicago, La Salle, Davidson, and St. Bonaventure.
On the women's side, George Mason looks to repeat as champions after winning its first indoor title since 2014 last year. The Patriots lead the conference in the 5000m with Ella Semple, pole vault with Kennedy Drish, and triple jump with Kailynn Tyson. VCU, last year's runner-up, tops the marks in five events: 60m by Asia Powell, 400m by Jaliyah Person, 60m hurdles by Aubree Harris, shot put by Like Matalatala, and weight throw by Desiree Akaolis.
Competing women's teams are VCU, Richmond, Rhode Island, Duquesne, Dayton, Fordham, La Salle, Loyola Chicago, Saint Louis, Davidson, Saint Joseph's, and George Washington.
