Alex Warren has been announced as the latest performer for the 2026 BRIT Awards, joining a roster that includes Harry Styles and Rosalía. The ceremony, marking the event's first time outside London in its 50-year history, will take place at Manchester's Co-op Live on February 28. Warren's hit 'Ordinary' is nominated for International Song of the Year.
The BRIT Awards 2026 will feature Alex Warren as a live performer, as revealed on February 16. This addition comes after announcements of other artists including Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Rosalía, Wolf Alice, and Mark Ronson. HUNTR/X will deliver a pre-recorded performance outside the Manchester venue, becoming the first K-pop act in the ceremony's history.
The event at Co-op Live arena on February 28 represents a historic shift, being the first BRIT Awards held outside London since its inception 50 years ago. Warren's inclusion highlights the success of his track 'Ordinary,' which became the most played song on British radio and the longest-running UK Number One by a US artist this decade. In 2025, it was the most streamed song of the 2020s, accumulating around 750 million streams. The song is nominated for Best International Song of the Year, while Warren received a Best New Artist nomination at the 2026 Grammys earlier this month and won the same category at the 2025 VMAs.
Warren expressed his excitement in a statement: “The UK is where ‘Ordinary’ first broke and changed my life last year. I am so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I can’t wait to bring a big performance to the BRITs’ stage for the very first time.” This will be his first televised performance since facing technical difficulties during the Best New Artist medley at the 2026 Grammys.
Jack Whitehall returns as host for the sixth time, and the trophy has been designed by Matthew Williamson. Other highlights include the Critics’ Choice Award winner Jacob Alon and honors for Mark Ronson (Outstanding Contribution to Music) and Noel Gallagher (Songwriter of the Year). Nominations were announced on January 21, with Olivia Dean and Lola Young leading with five each, followed by Sam Fender with four. The show will air on ITV1 in the UK and be shared worldwide on YouTube.
