Exodus releases music video for 'Goliath' title track

Exodus has shared a music video for the title track of their upcoming 12th studio album, also titled Goliath, set for release on March 20, 2026, through Napalm Records. The Californian thrash metal band describes the song as their heaviest and slowest to date, featuring violinist Katie Jacoby on strings. Directed by Tony Aguilera and Jim Louvau, the video accompanies the single's release today.

The release marks a significant moment for Exodus, a band with over 40 years in the thrash metal scene since their 1985 debut album Bonded By Blood. Goliath represents their most multifaceted effort yet, produced by the band and mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis, known for work with Whitechapel, Nile, and Undeath.

The title track 'Goliath' slows the tempo with malevolent leads, towering drums, and ominous strings from Katie Jacoby, who contributed 18 tracks to the harmony section. Intricate guitars come from Gary Holt, a longstanding member. The band stated: "'Goliath' may quite possibly be the heaviest thing we have ever done, and certainly the slowest song in our catalog, as close to doom metal as Exodus we get! Just pure evil, as sinister as it gets, featuring our friend Katie Jacoby, who laid down 18 tracks of strings in the middle harmony section, making the song go from just pure horror to a thing of beauty."

This album signifies the return of lead vocalist Rob Dukes and includes collaborations, such as Peter Tägtgren on 'The Changing Me.' The tracklisting is: 1. 3111, 2. Hostis Humani Generis, 3. The Changing Me (feat. Peter Tägtgren), 4. Promise You This, 5. Goliath (feat. Katie Jacoby), 6. Beyond The Event Horizon, 7. 2 Minutes Hate, 8. Violence Works, 9. Summon Of The God Unknown, 10. The Dirtiest Of The Dozen.

Exodus expressed enthusiasm: "Are we excited for this record? That’s an understatement. We put everything we had into this record... and it’s one of our proudest accomplishments. Wildly collaborative, the most band centric album to date with four songs written by Lee, lyrics by Gary, Rob, Lee and Tom, and just killer all the way around."

The band, consisting of Tom Hunting on drums, Gary Holt and Lee Altus on guitars, Jack Gibson on bass and backing vocals, and Rob Dukes on lead vocals, is currently touring Canada with Megadeth and Anthrax through early March 2026. They will then support Kreator in Europe and the UK with Carcass and Nails starting March 20, followed by a US tour with Sepultura in late April and May.
