The French Ski Federation has announced its nine athletes for the World Junior Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Championships in Lillehammer, Norway, scheduled from March 4 to 8, 2026. The selection includes four ski jumpers and five Nordic combined competitors, all representing various clubs across France. This event, relocated from Trondheim, will feature individual, team, and mixed competitions on the HS98 hill.
On February 24, 2026, the French Ski Federation (FFS) revealed the composition of its team for the upcoming World Junior Championships in ski jumping and Nordic combined, set to take place in Lillehammer, Norway, from March 4 to 8. The championships, originally planned for Trondheim, were moved to Lillehammer to host the junior and U23 events.
In ski jumping, the French contingent consists of two men and two women. Lorenzo Mugnier Cava and Anoki Pouradier, both from Courchevel in Savoie, will represent the men. The women's team features Mathilde Bacconnier, also from Courchevel, and Capucine Mesnil from Chamonix (Mont-Blanc).
For Nordic combined, five athletes have been selected: Lubin Martin from Villard sur Boëge (Mont-Blanc), Simon Pagnier from Risoux Club / Chaux Neuve (Massif Jurassien), Romane Baud from Olympic Mont D’Or (Massif Jurassien), Marion Droz-Vincent from Les Verrières / La Cluse (Massif Jurassien), and Anaëlle Paris from Oye et Pallet (Massif Jurassien).
The competition programme begins on Wednesday, March 4, with the women’s HS98 individual at 1:45 p.m., followed by the men’s individual on Thursday, March 5, at 4:30 p.m. Team events are scheduled for Friday, March 6 (women) and Saturday, March 7 (men), both on HS98. Sunday, March 8, includes the mixed team ski jumping at 10:00 a.m., followed by the cross-country pursuit, along with team sprint events in ski jumping and cross-country for men and women. Gundersen events feature ski jumping on Friday morning and pursuits later that day, with reserves as needed.
