Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has launched its latest dining venue, Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar, in Dauphin County. The 8,000-square-foot space, previously occupied by Houlihan’s, offers seating for 261 guests and features interactive entertainment options. The menu highlights Hershey-themed dishes and cocktails in a social atmosphere.
On March 11, 2026, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts opened Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar in Hershey, Pennsylvania, near the intersection of Cocoa and Chocolate Avenues. This full-service establishment reimagines an 8,000-square-foot area that formerly housed Houlihan’s, providing 261 seats suitable for couples, families, and larger groups. The venue includes an expanded bar with wraparound seating, high-top tables, shared areas, and 19 televisions.
The menu emphasizes chef-crafted items infused with local flavors, such as the Taste of Hershey Wing Trio tossed in signature sauces, smash burgers, Pretzel Board, Mediterranean Grilled Salmon Salad, and Social Braised Short Ribs. Desserts feature the Reese’s Take5 Piecaken and the elaborate Sundae Spectacular, which combines a chocolate brownie made with Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa, chocolate chip whoopie pie, Milton’s Vanilla Ice Cream, Malted Memories Ice Cream—a recipe from Milton Hershey School—Hershey’s caramel topping, chocolate sauce, SkinnyPop Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn Popcorn, a maple waffle, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry compote.
Jason Heath, vice president of Resort Operations, described the spot as “the heartbeat of downtown, a place where bold flavors meet memorable experiences.” He added that it allows guests to “Sip, Savor & Socialize, seven days a week,” with interactive features like high-tech darts and trivia. Executive chef Chris Emlet noted, “Our menu is a celebration of Hershey, featuring everything from our signature Taste of Hershey Wing Trio to iconic smash burgers and the show-stopping Sundae Spectacular.”
Signature cocktails include the Hershey Social Signature Old Fashioned, Chocolate S’mores Bourbon, Downtown Long Island served by the glass or pitcher, Hershey’s Kisses Signature Chocolate Martini, and martini flights like Berry on Broadway, Crimson Crush, and Lavender Haze. Non-alcoholic options such as the Zesty Mock-arita are also available.
Daily happy hour offers half-off select appetizers and drink specials, including $3 off drafts, $8 handcrafted cocktails, $4 house wines, $6 well drinks or zero-proof drinks, and $6 Bloody Marys on weekends. It runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
Guests can participate in mobile-device trivia or book 80-minute darts sessions for up to six players using vision board technology for customizable games and replays. Reservations for darts are recommended via the website, with full menu access in a semi-private room. Hershey Social joins 14 other restaurants operated by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
