Jordan Brand has released official images of the Air Jordan 13 Retro Chicago, a classic sneaker originally launched in 1998. The retro version is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026, through Nike and select retailers. It will be available in full-family sizing with prices starting at $85.
The Air Jordan 13 Retro Chicago draws from the model's debut in 1998, when it was worn on the court by Michael Jordan. Also known as the “True Red” or “Cherry” colorway, it has been retroed twice since then, in 2010 and 2017. This upcoming release marks the fourth opportunity to purchase the design.
The sneaker features an upper primarily covered in white tumbled leather with quilted dimples on the side panels. A black Jumpman logo appears on the tongue, and a black tag with white “JORDAN” text sits on the vamp. The collar includes the iconic cat eye in iridescent green, referencing Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname, with a lenticular print showing a Jumpman logo and the number “23.” Additional details comprise red suede panels below the white leather, a midsole of red suede and black foam, and an outsole in white, red, and black.
This release follows Jordan Brand's extensive retro program during its 40th anniversary in 2025, which included collaborations, limited drops, and original colorway revivals. The Air Jordan 13 Retro Chicago will retail for $215 in men's sizing, $160 for grade school (GS), $100 for preschool (PS), and $85 for toddler (TD). It will be available online and in-store via Nike and select retailers.
