Prediction market platform Kalshi has introduced a new Midterms Hub to display real-time betting odds on U.S. Senate and House races ahead of November elections.
The hub combines live market prices with polling averages, Federal Election Commission fundraising data, and curated news coverage for each contest. Kalshi described the tool as a one-stop resource for tracking where speculators expect outcomes to land.
The rollout follows reports that the company is seeking Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval to offer perpetual futures contracts on gold, silver, and platinum. Bloomberg reported the filing on Tuesday.
Kalshi recorded $31 billion in notional trading volume in June, up more than 70 percent from May. Sports contracts made up about 85 percent of activity that month.
The platform is also pursuing fresh funding at a roughly $40 billion valuation, nearly double the $22 billion level targeted in its prior round.
