Örebro artist Dragomir Rajkovic has died

Belgrade-born artist Dragomir Rajkovic, who lived in Örebro since 1975, has passed away at the age of 81. His wife Birgitta Rajkovic remembers him as beloved by many. Rajkovic trained in his home country and came to Sweden to work on theater decorations.

Dragomir Rajkovic was born on July 14, 1944, in what was then Yugoslavia, specifically in Belgrade. He trained as an artist there before spending several years in Austria. In 1975, he moved to Örebro with the aim of creating sets and decorations for the newly built Hjalmar Bergmanteatern.

The news of his death was reported by Nerikes Allehanda, with the article written by journalist Stellan Norén. Rajkovic had reached the age of 81 before he passed away.
