Developer Passtech Games and publisher Nacon have announced a new content roadmap for Ravenswatch, extending support through 2027 despite Nacon's recent financial challenges. The plan includes free updates and paid DLC starting with the Songs of Thieves expansion this spring. This follows a full year of post-launch content for the action roguelike.
Passtech Games, the developer behind the isometric action roguelike Ravenswatch, has shared an updated roadmap outlining future content through 2027. The announcement comes after the game completed its first year of post-launch support, measured from the Nightmares Unleashed update following the 1.0 launch. In a Steam post, Passtech and Nacon expressed pride in this milestone and committed to "another round of updates and DLC in 2026 and 2027."
The roadmap begins with the free Songs of Thieves update arriving in spring 2026. This expansion introduces the Thieves as a new enemy faction, complete with treasure rooms, deadly traps, and shard theft mechanics. Players will encounter new room types, including a magic mirror, and an interaction with Halloween legend Stingy Jack. The update also adds the ability to pause multiplayer sessions, a long-requested feature. Passtech teases that completing various melodies in the update will have a "powerful effect," though specifics remain undisclosed.
Following this, two paid DLC packs will introduce new heroes, interspersed with free content. The Cauldron and Potions update will bring new game modes between these releases, alongside quality-of-life changes and a talent rework. Passtech hints at additional ideas for content and heroes, asking players, "Can you guess who may join the Ravenswatch?" A paid skin pack accompanies the Songs of Thieves update for cosmetic customization.
This positive outlook contrasts with publisher Nacon's recent filing for insolvency and the delay of its Nacon Connect presentation to May 2026. Nacon described the situation as "a difficult moment" but affirmed that "this is not the end." It emphasized that announced releases remain on track and expressed confidence in overcoming the challenges. Ravenswatch ranks as Nacon's second most popular title on Steam by player count, available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Currently, Ravenswatch is discounted 50% until March 11, 2026, priced at $12.49 / £10.49. A bundle of all existing DLC, including cosmetic packs, a digital artbook, soundtrack, and the Merlin character, is available at 47% off.
