In 2025, Polri-supervised corn fields produced 3,975,934 tons from 661,122 hectares, contributing to a national surplus of 470,000 tons. Bulog absorbed 101,713 tons, with remaining stock at 4.5 million tons. For 2026, Polri targets completing one million hectares, with potential production exceeding 4 million tons.
In Bekasi, West Java, 215 farmers from 44 groups received aid including 4 hand tractors, 4 water pumps, 5 hand sprayers, superior seeds, and high-quality fertilizer. Wakapolri Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo emphasized Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) support from Himbara banks to break the middlemen chain.
