Cuca Gamarra announced today in Ermua Alberto Núñez Feijóo's commitment to pursue investigations into ETA crimes without known perpetrators.
PP Vice Secretary for Institutional Regeneration Cuca Gamarra made the announcement during the annual homage to councilor Miguel Ángel Blanco, killed by ETA in 1997. She stressed the commitment to pursue probes into the 376 unresolved crimes and those who ordered or supported them.
Gamarra denounced the alleged "prisoners for votes" pact between Pedro Sánchez and EH Bildu. She said a future PP government would change penitentiary rules to tie benefits to justice cooperation and repentance.
Marimar Blanco, the victim's sister, condemned the "covert amnesty" and recalled the 1997 Spirit of Ermua. The event occurred in Ermua, where ETA announced its dissolution in 2018.
