Gabriel Rufián has announced a joint event with Mónica Oltra on June 19 in Valencia under the slogan Espacio de Encuentro.
ERC spokesperson in Congress Gabriel Rufián confirmed on Friday that he will share the stage with Compromís candidate for mayor of Valencia Mónica Oltra. The meeting will take place at seven in the evening in Parque de Capçalera. Rufián has expressed openness to leading a unified left-wing candidacy for the next general elections. In his most recent public event in Madrid he reiterated that he will only run for Barcelona if he controls the list and ERC's political line in Madrid. Oltra, who left office in 2022 after an investigation for alleged cover-up, is returning to politics to contest the mayoralty in 2027. Both politicians already appeared together in April with Irene Montero at an event on feminism.
