Tailspin Ale Fest prepares for 13th annual event on March 7

The 13th Annual Tailspin Ale Fest is scheduled for March 7 at Bowman Field in Louisville, Kentucky, featuring over 50 breweries and 250 beers. The outdoor event will include live wrestling, music, aerial performances, and benefits for Parkinson's support programs. Advance tickets are required, with general admission priced at $60.

Tailspin Ale Fest, voted one of USA Today’s 10 Best beer festivals, returns for its 13th year as Louisville’s premier craft beer event celebrating the end of winter. The festival takes place on Saturday, March 7, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bowman Field, located at 2700 Gast Boulevard. General admission tickets cost $60 plus tax and fees, while VIP access, which sold out in advance, allows entry at 2 p.m. Tickets must be purchased ahead through the event website, as no day-of sales are available. Each ticket includes a souvenir taster cup, unlimited beer samples, and free water; designated driver options, shuttle services, and other add-ons are also offered.

More than 50 breweries from Kentucky, Indiana, and across America will pour over 250 beers, including rare releases, special tappings, and first-time offerings alongside flagships and seasonals. Local participants include Against the Grain, Country Boy Brewing, and Atrium Brewing, joined by national names like Bell’s, New Belgium, Trellis, and Three Floyds Brewing. Special areas feature beer paired with premium cigars at Cox’s Cigar Lounge, 10 rotating taps of barrel-aged beers at the Bourbon Barrel Beer Bar, dedicated bars for ciders and sours, and a Women in Beer showcase.

Beyond beer, the 100% outdoor event offers diverse entertainment. Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) returns with high-energy matches, as featured in the Netflix docuseries Wrestlers. The Red Bull Air Force makes its Tailspin debut with aerial demonstrations involving skydiving and wingsuit flying. Music includes performances by Tony & The Tan Lines, 100% Poly, Vinyl Richie & Hot Sauce Brass Band, plus a silent disco by Drake’s. Attendees can watch games in the Watch Lounge, enjoy food trucks, local vendors, photo opportunities, raffles, silent auctions, giveaways, and planes on display.

A portion of proceeds benefits Pints for Parkinson’s and TKO Parkinson’s, a Louisville-based nonprofit providing a free boxing program for those fighting Parkinson’s progression.
