American Airlines revealed plans to introduce nonstop flights from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI), beginning May 21, 2026. The service will run four times weekly, providing travelers with direct access to the destination for the first time since 2022.
In addition, American Airlines is enhancing its routes to Santo Domingo (SDQ) by restarting daily seasonal flights in May, a month ahead of the previous schedule. This expansion underscores the airline's commitment to bolstering international options from Philadelphia, which it calls its hometown hub.
