Apple has increased subscription prices for Apple Music and its Apple One bundle, citing rising licensing costs. The changes affect individual, family, and student plans, marking the first such increase since 2022.
Apple Music's individual plan now costs $12 per month, up from $11. The family plan rose to $20 from $17, while the student plan increased to $7 from $6.
Apple One bundle prices also changed. The family plan is now $28 per month, up $2, and the Premier plan reached $40, also up $2. The individual plan remained at $20.
The company attributed the adjustments to rising licensing costs, as confirmed in statements to Music Business Worldwide. These increases follow hardware price hikes announced in June amid a memory chip shortage.
Apple last raised Apple Music prices in 2022 with similar adjustments of $1 or more across plans.
