On February 21, 2026, the Baylor equestrian team hosted No. 7 TCU for their final home meet of the season, celebrating senior day at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco, Texas. Baylor rallied from an early position to defeat the Horned Frogs 11-8, dropping TCU's all-time record against Baylor to 14-27.
Baylor secured a 3-2 victory in Flat, marking their fourth event win of the season there, and a dominant 4-1 win in Horsemanship, their first of the year in that discipline. In Horsemanship, junior Carley Rutledge earned her first career most outstanding performer (MOP) honor with a career-high score of 77.5, securing her first point of the season. Junior Taylor Smith also notched her first point of the season in the event. Freshman Lila Badham made her collegiate debut in Jumping Seat, scoring a career-high 64.
Senior Lauren Jorgensen tied her season-high score of 86 in Flat, earning her second MOP of the season in that event, and also secured her second MOP in Fences this season. In Reining, senior Britt McIlnay rode to a career high of 72.5, senior Kalena Reynolds tied her career high of 73.5, and senior Sadie Peters achieved a career high of 72.
From TCU's perspective, the loss represented their second straight close road defeat. Maggie Dumrauf tied her career-high score of 84.5 in Fences, Lex Lipacis won her third straight on Flat, Sydney Sargent earned her first career MOP in Reining, and Cassie Hacking secured her fourth consecutive win in Reining.
Baylor's next meet is scheduled for March 6, while TCU travels on February 26.
