President-elect Abelardo De La Espriella met yesterday with the governor and 37 mayors of Huila in Neiva to discuss regional projects.
During the meeting in the governors’ hall of the Huila Governor’s Office, De La Espriella announced that on September 15 the incoming government will present which projects can be addressed with the resources found.
The president-elect pledged to prioritize more than 100 phase-three projects and to decentralize power. He also stated that the Rapid Deployment Force will return to Huila this year and that a fertilizer plant will be built in the department.
De La Espriella warned two FARC dissident leaders, alias ‘Bleiner’ or ‘El Viejo’ and alias ‘Sergio Carvajal’, and reiterated his commitment to restore security in the region.
