A Santiago court imposed precautionary measures on four detainees for a robbery and attempted homicide against a PDI officer in San Miguel.
The events took place on Monday around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Lazo and Gran Avenida. The suspects stole about three million pesos from a client leaving a bank.
A PDI officer pursued them and identified herself as police. The driver ran her over and she climbed onto the vehicle to avoid being hit.
The officer fired at least five shots and wounded two occupants. The detainees are three adolescents aged 16 and 17 and a 26-year-old man.
On Tuesday the court ordered provisional internment for the minors and preventive prison for the adult. All were charged with frustrated homicide and robbery with violence, with a 100-day investigation period.
