Ethiopia advances long-term development projects for future generations

The Medemer government reported results in agriculture and infrastructure sectors.

In the first six months of the completed 2018 budget year, 126.69 million quintals of irrigated wheat production were obtained.

During this production season, 29 million hectares of land were plowed and 1.3 billion quintals of output were collected. The agriculture sector recorded 7.7 percent growth.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that corridor development works aim to build cities and villages suited to the needs of the next generation. The Green Legacy program and other projects are being implemented.
