Globe unveils 2026 connectivity vision at The Blue Print Q1 2026

At the Q1 2026 edition of The Blue Print by Globe on February 19, 2026, the company unveiled its ambitious plan to position connectivity as a fundamental utility for every Filipino. The vision emphasizes reliability, accessibility, and integration of satellite and AI technologies. The goal is to provide dependable connections, especially during disasters.

On February 19, 2026, at The Globe Tower in Manila, Globe Telecom leaders presented their 2026 vision under the theme “Every Filipino Connected.” They declared that connectivity is no longer just about speed but reliability and accessibility, positioning it as a fifth utility akin to water and electricity.

The first pillar, Connectivity You Can Count On, addresses disaster challenges in the Philippines. Globe is expanding its partnership with Starlink using Direct to Cell satellite technology following a successful pilot. Testing will extend to more locations to bolster coverage amid typhoons and signal loss. Ookla recently recognized Globe as the most reliable mobile and broadband network in the country, reaching 96 percent of the population.

The second pillar, Connectivity With Every Filipino, promotes digital inclusion. Through GoGIVE on the GlobeOne app, prepaid users generated over 4 billion hearts in 2025, with more than 840 million donated to partners such as Ayala Foundation and Philippine Eagle Foundation. This effort earned Globe a shortlist spot in the Marketing for Good category at the 2026 GLOMO Awards.

The third pillar, Experience Globe Through Connectivity, introduces new solutions like a fully managed enterprise-grade data streaming platform in partnership with Confluent, and an Omnichannel Cloud Contact Center supported by Google Cloud. For homes, the Built in Broadband initiative integrates fiber ports into new property developments, featuring AI-driven innovations and a 24-hour Care Squad. Bundled mobile and home offerings were also highlighted to enhance seamless connectivity.

Overall, Globe's 2026 vision focuses on building resilience, enabling opportunities, and fostering shared progress in the digital economy.
