President Javier Milei attended the 172nd anniversary event of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and projected his reelection in 2027.
During the July 16 event, Milei defended the Government's economic direction and said he seeks to lay the foundations for 100 years of liberalism. He stated he will send Congress a bill on the inviolability of property rights.
The president noted that the Ministry of Human Capital and the Ministry of Deregulation drive growth, with more than 16,500 deregulations already completed. He highlighted fiscal deficit closure and economic opening as key engines.
Milei responded to a public interruption by saying: "I am going to finish my mandate, I am going to be reelected and have four more years". Guillermo Francos, former Cabinet chief, backed this view and said no one can stand against him in the elections.
