Nebula Yacht launches 58m superyacht Amanda in Turkey

Turkish shipyard Nebula Yacht has launched the 57.6-metre motor yacht Amanda after nearly 13 years of construction. The vessel, originally started by another yard, underwent modifications before its debut in Antalya. Delivery to the owner is planned for the 2026 season.

The launch of the superyacht Amanda marks a significant milestone for Nebula Yacht, based in Antalya, Turkey. Construction began with the keel laying in May 2013 at Sunrise Yachts, another Turkish builder. In 2022, Nebula Yacht took over the incomplete hull, reviving the project originally designed by Espen Øino. The yard made adjustments, including converting a lounge into an additional cabin on the top deck, with re-engineering handled by Adeo Yacht Design.

Spanning four decks, Amanda offers more than 1,200 gross tonnes of interior space, styled by Italian designer Matteo Gennari. The main deck features a spacious saloon, dining area, and four guest cabins, all utilizing the yacht's full 11-metre beam. The aft section includes areas for socializing and outdoor dining, leading to a beach club with a large swim platform. Two more cabins on the top deck accommodate up to 12 guests, supported by 14 crew members.

Propulsion comes from a diesel-electric system with twin 1,000kW electric motors driven by three 600kW generators. This setup enables a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

After the launch, Amanda will proceed to commissioning, including harbour tests and sea trials. Meanwhile, Nebula Yacht has another project underway: the 63.5-metre Marimba, formerly known as All About U.
