These include classics like hazy and American IPAs, as well as experimental options featuring ingredients such as Mexican chocolate and pineapple. USA Today described it as charming guests with its easygoing vibe and fresh brews.
In Woodburn, TopWire Hop Project took sixth in the best beer gardens category. Located on the working Crosby Hop Farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley, it operates seasonally amid hop fields with views of Mount Hood. Visitors can sample hop-forward and other styles from Pacific Northwest breweries in an open-air setting that emphasizes the link between farming and brewing.
Portland's Belmont Station ranked sixth among the top 10 best beer bars. Starting as a small specialty shop, it has become a key player in Oregon's beer landscape. The spot boasts over 1,400 beers, ciders, meads, and wines, plus 35 rotating taps at its Biercafé. It also features the Monster Smashburgers food truck and hosts events like Meet the Brewer nights and the annual Puckerfest for sour and wild ales.
The Horse Brass Pub in Portland placed 10th in the best beer bars list. Opened in 1976, this English-style pub has long supported local breweries. It serves more than 50 international and local beers on tap, using British imperial pints of 20 ounces. The menu includes traditional fare like bangers and mash, Scotch eggs, and award-winning halibut fish and chips, set in a dark wood interior with dartboards evoking a London pub.
