Following its unveiling at Galaxy Unpacked 2026 last month, Samsung Electronics has officially launched global sales of its Galaxy S26 smartphones after record-breaking preorders in South Korea. The flagship series, featuring the innovative privacy display on the S26 Ultra, is now available in 120 countries worldwide.
Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Wednesday, March 11, 2026—the shipping date previewed at Unpacked—that it has officially launched global sales of its Galaxy S26 series, following record-breaking preorders for the company's flagship S lineup.
The products are now available in key markets including South Korea, the United States, Britain, and India, with rollout expanding to 120 countries. Preorders in South Korea hit 1.35 million units, a new S series record, with the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra comprising over 70 percent worldwide.
Building on the series' advanced AI and hardware revealed at Unpacked, the launch underscores strong demand. Samsung highlighted the S26 Ultra's built-in privacy display, which protects screen content without additional films by integrating hardware and software. "Designed for everyday situations, hardware and software are working as one to protect privacy without compromising everyday viewing experiences," the company stated.
Complementing the phones, the new Galaxy Buds4 wireless earphones enhance the ecosystem. "The Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Buds4 deliver superior hi-fi audio and everyday wearability to achieve the best listening experience across the Galaxy Buds series to date."
This milestone reflects Samsung's emphasis on innovation amid robust consumer interest.
