South Florida and Old Dominion prepare for UNF Collegiate golf tournament

The University of South Florida women's golf team is set to compete in the 2026 Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Florida. Old Dominion University will also participate in the 14-team event hosted by the University of North Florida. The 54-hole stroke play tournament begins on February 23 at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.

The 2026 Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate, a 54-hole stroke play tournament, will take place at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Hosted by the University of North Florida, the event features a par-72 course measuring approximately 6,347 yards. Competition starts with two rounds on Monday, February 23, via an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, followed by one round on Tuesday, February 24, at 8:45 a.m.

The 14-team field includes South Florida, Old Dominion, North Florida, Tulsa, South Alabama, Augusta, Miami, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Eastern Kentucky, Furman, Campbell, Sam Houston, and No. 29 Oklahoma State. For South Florida, the lineup consists of Tiphani Knight, Cherry Marley, Regina Plascencia, Alice Webb, and Emma Kim in team play, with Matylda Krawczynska competing as an individual. The Bulls are coached by AJ Newell, a Tampa native and former LPGA Tour player, in her second season. Newell previously assisted at the University of Michigan, contributing to three NCAA Regional appearances and a 2022 Big Ten title.

Old Dominion's team features Barbara Car, Puneet Bajwa, Alina Shchepteva, Julia Rafter, and Mariana Arronte, with Ludovica Girola as an individual. The Monarchs return for their third straight year after tying for ninth place last season with a 68-over-par 932 total. Bajwa led ODU with a 12-over 228, tying for 20th.
