Mewgenics, a roguelite RPG battler developed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel, has achieved remarkable success on Steam since its February 10, 2026 launch. The game has recouped its seven-year development budget within hours and attracted over 115,000 concurrent players. In response, McMillen announced plans for a console release and paid DLC.
