Goose schedules New Orleans afterparties ahead of Jazz Fest

Jam band Goose will perform two nights at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans on April 21 and 22, 2026, with official afterparties at the nearby Toulouse Theatre. The events feature DJ duo Flying Mojito Bros on the first night and new supergroup The Breaks on the second. Tickets for both afterparties are now on sale.

Goose is set to kick off the 2026 Jazz Fest season with a two-night stand at the Saenger Theatre on Tuesday, April 21, and Wednesday, April 22. Following each performance, fans can continue the evening at the Toulouse Theatre, located a 15-minute walk away in the French Quarter at 615 Toulouse St, New Orleans, LA 70130.

On April 21, the afterparty will be hosted by Flying Mojito Bros, a U.K.-based DJ duo known for their cosmic desert disco and outlaw house sounds. They gained attention in the jam scene with 2024 late-night sets at Phish’s Mondegreen festival and Pretty Lights’ Bethel Woods event, featuring upbeat remixes of tracks by Grateful Dead, Santana, Talking Heads, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Doors open at 11:00 p.m., with the show starting at midnight. Ticket options include GA Tier 1 at $28, GA Tier 2 or day-of at $30, and VIP at $50.

The following night, April 22, marks the debut live performance of The Breaks, a new organ trio supergroup comprising drummer Stanton Moore of Galactic, guitarist Eddie Roberts of The New Mastersounds, and organist Robert Walter of The Greyboy Allstars, Mike Gordon, and Roger Waters. The group recently released their debut single, “Hasheesh,” which will appear on their self-titled album due out on May 1, 2026. Robert Walter commented, “Even though this is a new band, there are years of history between us. These are two of my favorite musicians and two of my closest friends. I’m also a huge fan of both Eddie and Stanton. It’s so easy and fun to play music with these people. It’s like putting on a pair of well broken in comfortable shoes.”

For the April 22 event, doors open at 11:00 p.m. and the show begins at midnight, with GA Tier 1 tickets at $30, GA Tier 2 or day-of at $35, and VIP at $60. Both afterparties are presented by Live For Live Music, GMP Live, and Dayglo Presents.
