Hulk Hogan's WrestleMania 1 boots sell for $1.037 million at auction

Hulk Hogan's bloodied boots from the inaugural WrestleMania fetched $1,037,000 at Heritage Auctions, marking the first million-dollar sale of wrestling memorabilia. WWE wrestler Logan Paul engaged in a late-night bidding war, pushing his offer to $1,021,000 before conceding defeat. The auction follows Hogan's death in July 2025 and highlights the enduring value of WWE history.

The boots worn by Hulk Hogan during WrestleMania 1, held at Madison Square Garden, sold for $1,037,000 through Heritage Auctions, as reported by Vice. These items, signed by Hogan with the inscription 'These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan,' drew significant interest following the wrestler's passing on July 24, 2025.

Logan Paul, fresh from his performance in the Men's Elimination Chamber match on February 28, 2026, where he achieved three consecutive eliminations before Seth Rollins eliminated him with a Curb Stomp, participated in the bidding. Paul shared on social media, 'Stayed up until 2am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s worn & signed boots from Wrestlemania 1. The inscription read “These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.” I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.'

WrestleMania 1, which took place in 1985, featured Hogan teaming with Mr. T to defeat Rowdy Roddy Piper and Mr. Wonderful in the main event, with Pat Patterson and Muhammad Ali as special guest referees. The event drew over 19,000 fans and is credited with transforming WWE's trajectory and establishing Hogan as a major figure.

This sale surpasses previous auctions of Hogan's memorabilia, such as a boot from WrestleMania 18 against The Rock that sold for $146,000. Additionally, Hogan's Clearwater Beach, Florida residence, a 5,400-square-foot property, is listed for just under $11 million, while his Real American Beer company, which has sold over 10 million cans, is undergoing a rebrand.
