Kanye West opens Yeezy pop-up store in Mexico City

Rapper Kanye West, known as Ye, has opened a temporary store for his clothing brand Yeezy in Mexico City. The pop-up store offers exclusive products for a limited time in the Juárez neighborhood. This launch aligns with recent interest from his concerts in the Mexican capital.

The Yeezy pop-up store is located at Copenhague 27 in the Juárez neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc borough. The site is identifiable by gray doors bearing the brand name and metallic cubes resembling obsidian, based on social media images.

The store opened on February 7 and will remain open until February 21, operating Monday through Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00. Due to high demand, arriving early is advised to view products and secure available sizes, as the space is small with limited inventory.

Available items include t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, jackets, parkas, sandals, socks, hats, sunglasses, and bags, in adult sizes. Footwear is not offered this time, unlike previous Adidas collaborations. Base prices are: t-shirts at 860 pesos, sweatshirts from 1,480 to 1,680 pesos, pants from 1,640 to 1,680 pesos, jackets and parkas from 1,640 to 3,420 pesos, sandals at 1,200 pesos, socks and hats at 860 pesos, and sunglasses and bags from 860 to 2,640 pesos.

Yeezy is a fashion brand founded by Kanye West in 2015, initially partnering with Adidas to focus on high-end urban clothing and footwear with a minimalist style. The Adidas partnership ended in 2022, along with one with Gap, prompting shifts in distribution. Despite challenges, the brand continues to influence contemporary fashion and sneaker culture.
