Munich security conference discusses Europe's survival

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) takes place from Friday to Sunday at the Bayerischer Hof hotel. Global conflicts are discussed, with a high density of heads of state, ministers, and experts. The main theme is how Europe can survive as a union of democracies in a destructive world.

The Munich Security Conference, abbreviated as MSC, gathers an extraordinary concentration of international leaders in the Bavarian capital. At the Bayerischer Hof hotel, heads of state and government, foreign and defense ministers, diplomats, military personnel, and business leaders meet from Friday to Sunday. This creates the highest density of such figures per square meter.

The central theme of the event is: How can Europe survive in this destructive world as a union of democracies? The conference serves to discuss global conflicts and seek solutions for European security issues.

RND editor-in-chief Eva Quadbeck is on site in Munich. She invites participants to an exclusive live call on Monday, February 16, at 18:00 to discuss the backgrounds of the MSC. Participation is free after brief registration, with video and audio access for attendees.
