On February 23, 2026, Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, unveiled the 2026 outdoor schedules for its men's and women's track and field teams. Head coach Mike Miller '08 G'12 led the announcement, highlighting a season opener on March 27-28 at UMass Dartmouth and Monmouth.
The Pride will participate in six competitions prior to major events, including two home meets: the SC Classic on April 4 at the Blake Track and the New England Division III Championships from May 1-3, which Springfield will host. Other road trips include UMass Amherst on April 11 and Trinity and UConn on April 18.
The schedule builds toward the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships, hosted by Coast Guard from April 24-25. Following that, the teams aim for the Farley Inter Regional from May 5-8, the AARTFC Outdoor Championships on May 13-14, and a Last Chance Meet on May 14 to qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships starting May 21 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Last season, both programs placed third at the NEWMAC Championships, with the men medaling in seven events and the women in three. Junior Mike Anderson from Cromwell, Connecticut, was among two Springfield student-athletes who competed at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
This structured season positions the Pride for regional and national contention in Division III track and field.
