The University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks led with seven top-five finishes across four events. Julia Matthews claimed victory in the women's weight throw, while Nadia Evans won the women's 200-meter dash. These triumphs underscored the team's strong start to the weekend meet.
North Dakota State University (NDSU) athletes also impressed, particularly freshman Kaela Skistad, who debuted in the 300m with a time of 39.07 seconds, placing her fifth in NDSU indoor history. Other notable performers included Julia Gherardi, Logan Harz, Aleah Miller, Hope Stein, Kendal Stingle, Sophia Truscott, Reagan Berg, Mia Hoffmann, Jaelyn Miller, and Paige Halder, contributing to multiple all-time top-10 performances for the Bison.
Minot State University Beavers focused on personal milestones, with five athletes achieving career-best marks as they build toward the NSIC Championships later in the month. Standouts were Summer Krebsbach, Emery Smith, Bailey Wride, Kaiya Chell, Holter Bridwell, Zander Grover, Peyton Tuhy, and Justin Williams.
