Accumulated precipitation is estimated between 30 and 70 millimeters, with potential for localized exceedances.
In response to this forecast, the Government of the City of Buenos Aires issued preventive recommendations. For residents, it advised avoiding flooded streets and not driving through them, securing items like pots or plastic chairs on balconies to prevent wind-related accidents, and being cautious with clotheslines or construction elements. It also recommended not handling electrical devices that have been in contact with water, properly disposing of waste in containers between 7 and 9 p.m. from Sunday to Friday, and avoiding tree-lined areas during strong winds or rain.
