The Argentine delegation arrived in New Jersey on Thursday night and held its first training session on Friday, ahead of Sunday's match against Spain at MetLife Stadium.
Lionel Scaloni diagrammed tactical exercises during the session. The coach and Emiliano Martínez later held a press conference.
Scaloni said: “No nos ponemos en la cabeza que es una final del mundo porque podés desviar la atención. Lo preparamos al máximo como todos los partidos”. He added that the team is well and will try to win.
United States President Donald Trump attended a FIFA event in New York. He greeted AFA President Claudio Tapia and praised a play by Lionel Messi.
The match is scheduled for Sunday at 16:00 Argentine time.
