ExpressVPN has introduced a new cybersecurity suite featuring four standalone apps designed to enhance user privacy and security. The suite includes a password manager, masked email service, identity monitoring tool, and an encrypted AI platform, all integrated into its existing subscription plans. Two of the apps are available immediately, while the others will launch soon.
ExpressVPN announced on February 5, 2026, the launch of four new standalone products as part of its expanded cybersecurity offerings. These apps—ExpressKeys, ExpressMailGuard, Identity Defender, and ExpressAI—aim to provide robust protection for passwords, emails, personal data, and AI interactions, bundled within the company's multi-tiered pricing structure.
ExpressKeys, a standalone password manager, has officially launched and is now available for iOS and Android devices. It replaces the previous ExpressVPN Keys feature, which was integrated into the main VPN app. By separating it into its own app, ExpressVPN can update it more quickly without affecting the core VPN service. Subscribers with Advanced or Pro plans who had ExpressVPN Keys will see it automatically upgraded to ExpressKeys.
ExpressMailGuard, also launched immediately, allows users to generate unlimited burner email addresses that forward messages to their real inbox. This helps protect against spam and data exposure; users can block access to aliases receiving unwanted emails. The service is accessible via a dedicated dashboard for all ExpressVPN subscribers and addresses risks from AI-powered attacks on email.
Identity Defender, available only to U.S. customers who created accounts after October 28, 2024, is set to launch on February 26, 2026, for Advanced and Pro subscribers. It offers data removal services, identity theft insurance, and crawlers that scan public information for threats to personal data.
ExpressAI, an encrypted AI platform, was originally planned for immediate release but has been delayed for refinements, with a new launch date to be determined. It ensures end-to-end encryption, does not use user prompts for model training, avoids saving uploads in persistent memory, and includes guardrails against harmful requests. ExpressVPN emphasizes a privacy-first approach, applying VPN principles to AI tools to keep user data out of training pipelines.
These apps build on ExpressVPN's reputation for reliable, non-innovative but effective security tools, appealing to existing VPN users seeking comprehensive protection.
