Five additional men have been indicted, bringing the total to 19 suspects in an investigation into filmed collective rapes in libertine circles.
The case began in 2023 after one victim filed a complaint against her ex-partner, born in 1969. He is accused of organizing collective rapes with invited men, with the acts alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2024.
According to Bordeaux public prosecutor Renaud Gaudeul, 19 men are now under formal investigation and six victims have been identified, five of whom have joined as civil parties. Four of the new indictments date from January.
Successive arrests took place in spring 2025, June 2025 and December 2025. Videos found at the main suspect's home helped establish the victims' lack of consent and locate filming sites in Bordeaux, Hérault and Gard.
