Nuclear Messiah releases single 'Electric Burn' with metal icons

Cleopatra Records has released the new single 'Electric Burn' by Nuclear Messiah, featuring guitarists Chris Poland and Marty Friedman, bassist Joe Bouchard, vocalist Marc Lopes, and drummer Chris Adler. The track serves as a preview for the upcoming album 'Black Flame', set for release on April 24. Centered on Chris Poland's guitar work, the project unites numerous rock and metal legends.

In Los Angeles, California, Cleopatra Records announced the release of Nuclear Messiah's single 'Electric Burn', which spotlights the talents of former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland alongside Marty Friedman, also ex-Megadeth, Blue Öyster Cult's Joe Bouchard, Marc Lopes from Ross The Boss and Let Us Prey, and drummer Chris Adler. This track is the climactic closer on the forthcoming album 'Black Flame', scheduled for April 24.

The album 'Black Flame' is a concept record produced by Cleopatra founder Brian Perera, Derek Hughes, and Jürgen Engler, with A&R direction from John Lappen. It features Chris Poland's guitar mastery, drawing from his time with Megadeth on albums like 'Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?', as well as projects like OHM and Damn the Machine. Perera described Poland by saying, “Chris isn’t just a guitarist — he’s a spirit of sound.” Nuclear Messiah was built around his contributions, involving 36 iconic musicians from five decades of rock and metal.

Poland commented on the single: “‘Electric Burn’ is just that…this song is on fire. Chris Adler is smokin’ hot and the rest of the band follows suit. I mean, come on, freakin’ Marty Friedman is on this track. It’s one of my favorites.” He added about the album, “This record has so many metal icons playing on it. It’s really a must for any metal head’s record collection.”

'Black Flame' opens with William Shatner's spoken introduction and includes artists from bands such as Vanilla Fudge, Guns N’ Roses, Uriah Heep, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, UFO, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Thor, Testament, Night Ranger, the Michael Schenker Group, and Yes. It mixes original compositions with covers like Uriah Heep's “Look At Yourself”, Lucifer’s Friend, May Blitz, and Holocaust.
