From there, they rebounded decisively, securing a 12-1 victory over Lloydminster and a 9-5 win against Saskatoon St. Joseph.
In the semifinals, the Colts faced A.E. Peacock Collegiate and fell 5-9. However, they got their revenge in the bronze medal match, dominating Langham 15-1 to claim third place.
