Two polls published this week by El Financiero reveal that Morena leads voter intentions for governor in Michoacán and Sinaloa in 2027, despite disapproval of the current governors.
In Michoacán, Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla registers 60 percent disapproval and only 32 percent approval. However, Morena obtains 36 percent of voting intention for the 2027 governorship, against 14 percent for the PAN, 9 percent for the PRI and 7 percent for MC.
In Sinaloa, interim Governor Yeraldine Bonilla has 49 percent disapproval and 42 percent approval after less than three months in office. Morena reaches 38 percent of voting intention, while PAN, PRI and MC total 23 percent.
The polls indicate that 29 percent in Michoacán and 36 percent in Sinaloa remain undecided. The results show that disapproval on issues such as security and corruption does not directly reduce support for the party.
