Sahitya Aaj Tak 2026 in Lucknow is set for February 14 and 15, featuring poetry, ghazals, music, and literary discussions. The second day includes Maha Shivratri special events with performers such as Manoj Tiwari, Taapsee Pannu, and Hariharan.
The two-day Sahitya Aaj Tak 2026 festival in Lucknow's cultured city begins on February 14. It encompasses art, culture, music, poetry, and stories, running from 11 AM to 10 PM.
On the first day, 'Halla Bol Chaupal' starts with bhajan jamming by the Rangreza Group. Ravi Kishan will discuss music and politics. Acharya Mithilesh Nandini Sharanji Maharaj will speak on spirituality. The kavi sammelan 'Dhhai Akshar Prem Ka' will feature Dr. Buddhinath Mishra, Dr. Vishnu Saxena, Sudeep Bhola, Anamika Amber, Dr. Bhavna Tiwari, Dr. Rachna Tiwari, Vinod Shrivastava, and Damdaar Banarasi. In the evening, Fauzia Dastango's 'Dastaan e Guru Dutt' with Latika Jain will be presented. Dr. Hari Om's 'Sham e Ghazal', Shabbir Kumar's performance, and Ali Brothers' Sufiyana Shaam will follow.
At 'Dastak Darbar', poets like Vishnu Virat and Piyush Agnihotri will express on love. Rahul Dev, Prof. Sanjeev K. Sharma, and Yatin Mishra will discuss 'Gaur Se Kaho Hum Hindu Hain'. Manoj Rajan Tripathi, Sanjeev Mishra, and Piyush Pandey will talk about crime and mafia stories. Rajni Gupta, Balendu Dwivedi, Sabaahat Afreen, and Bhagwant Anmol will narrate the dastaan of Awadh. Malini Awasthi will speak on love in folk music.
The second day features Maha Shivratri special bhajan jamming by India Music Collective. Manoj Tiwari on politics and music, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur on films, Taapsee Pannu on court room drama. Hariharan's ghazal evening will include the launch of the book 'Ustaad-e-Ghazal Hariharan'. Pawan Singh's Power Star show will take place. Mushaira-e-Lucknow will have poets like Waseem Barelvi, Nawaz Deobandi, and Shakeel Azmi.
At 'Dastak Darbar', poets like Preeti Tripathi will discuss love, Naval Kant Sinha on non-nawabi vegetarianism, Kamlesh Kishor Singh on teen taal. Shams Tahir Khan will share his story. Divya Prakash Dubey will talk about Hindi fiction writing.
