Sherrill Furniture Brands will introduce House of DuVäl, a new collaboration with designer DuVäl, at the High Point Market in April 2026. The collection blends classic lines with modern comfort, inspired by menswear textures. It aims to fill an underserved market segment with 28 pieces for various home areas.
House of DuVäl x Sherrill represents a partnership between Sherrill Furniture Brands and luxury interior designer DuVäl, set to debut at the High Point Market from April 25 to 29, 2026. The brand draws on New American Heritage, offering timeless sophistication through furniture that combines classic proportions with contemporary ease. Heavily influenced by the textures and finishes of menswear, the line targets a market gap identified by DuVäl, complementing Sherrill's portfolio without overlapping existing brands.
The initial collection features 28 pieces, including sofas, sectionals, accent chairs, dining tables and chairs, upholstered beds, dressers, and home office items like desks and file cabinets. Versatile accents such as occasional tables, ottomans, credenzas, nightstands, and even a dog bed allow for cohesive use across living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, and offices.
"We were drawn to Sherrill because we saw a clear opportunity to introduce furniture that feels more masculine, architectural and grounded," said DuVäl, owner and principal designer of DuVäl Design. He emphasized the importance of a partner with strong manufacturing capabilities: "Sherrill has the experience, infrastructure and manufacturing expertise to execute at a high level. The partnership made sense creatively, operationally and strategically, and I am ecstatic to launch it in High Point this spring."
Sydney Wells Martin, vice president of marketing for Sherrill Furniture Brands, described the collaboration's evolution: "DuVäl began as a friend of the brand, then that relationship evolved into something more. He identified a gap in both our assortment and the broader industry and approached us with a clear plan."
Tom Zaliagiris, senior vice president of sales and marketing, added, "DuVäl brings a fresh perspective and a strong design voice that expands our reach while reinforcing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. His vision supports our 80-year heritage while helping position us as a design-driven leader for the future."
A formal launch event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on April 24, 2026, on the third floor of Sherrill's showroom at 315 Fred Alexander Place in High Point. DuVäl, an award-winning designer and serial entrepreneur, also designs wallcoverings and mentors emerging professionals. Additional details on accessory partnerships will be announced closer to the market.
Sherrill Furniture Brands encompasses lines such as Sherrill Furniture, Hickory White, and others, maintaining a focus on quality craftsmanship.
