David Jaffe, creator of the God of War video game series, has expressed strong disapproval of the first promotional image for Amazon's upcoming TV adaptation. The image features actors Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus in a scene reminiscent of the 2018 game. Jaffe described the picture as terrible while acknowledging the efforts of the production team.
