Cafe Patachou, established in 1989 by restaurateur Martha Hoover, is expanding beyond Indiana with its debut Cincinnati-area outpost. The chain, often described on its website as a "student union for adults," specializes in an elevated approach to breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare.

The new location will open this spring at The District at Deerfield development in Mason, Ohio. This mixed-use site already hosts establishments such as 101 Craft Kitchen, Fifty West Brewery, and Pins Mechanical Co., with additional restaurants and bars in the works.

Menu highlights include breakfast staples like omelettes, croissant French toast, and chilaquiles. Lunch options encompass salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soup. Complementing the meals is a self-serve coffee bar offering seasonal lattes, such as English toffee and peppermint mocha. Beverages extend to brunch cocktails, beer, and wine.

Over the years, Cafe Patachou has earned local, regional, and national recognition. It operates multiple sites across Indiana and one in Lexington, Kentucky. For more details, visit the chain's website.
