Inflation falls to 1.3 percent in June

A preliminary calculation from Statistics Sweden shows inflation measured by KPIF fell to 1.3 percent in June. The figure is down from 1.5 percent in May. Experts assess that the change will not affect mortgage rates.

Statistics Sweden released the preliminary June figure for KPIF inflation. It showed a small decline compared with the previous month.

The KPIF measure is often used to track underlying price developments. The May figure stood at 1.5 percent.

According to experts the new level will not lead to changed mortgage rates for households.
