French watch brand March LA.B has unveiled its annual Millésime edition, the AM2 “Nyctalope” Carbon, featuring a lightweight forged carbon case and glowing elements. This special version of the popular AM2 model combines retro design with modern materials. The release celebrates the brand's founding month of March.
March LA.B, founded in 2008 by Alain Marhic, Jérôme Mage, and Joseph Châtel in Biarritz, France, specializes in watches inspired by 1970s design and surfing culture. The brand's name reflects connections between Los Angeles and Biarritz. Each March, it issues a Millésime edition to mark its birth month, blending historical tributes with forward-looking concepts.
The AM2 “Nyctalope” Carbon is this year's release, a non-GMT variant of the octagonal AM2 Automatic. It features a 38mm forged carbon case with a 44mm length and 12.8mm thickness, offering 100m water resistance. The case combines black and green tones, with green sections that glow under UV light, adding to the watch's night-vision theme—'Nyctalope' in French refers to excellent low-light vision.
The dark green dial includes a central “armor” motif echoing the included straps, surrounded by 3D solid Super-LumiNova hour markers that illuminate green in the dark. Horizontal markers at 1, 5, 7, and 11 o'clock provide character, while smaller blue-glowing dots sit outside each index. The date window at 6 o’clock displays a green “3” on the third of each month, nodding to March. Gunmetal PVD-treated hands also feature green lume.
Powered by the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour, 24 jewels, and a 68-hour power reserve, the caliber is visible through a green sapphire display caseback. Two jacquard-woven straps from Julien Faure in Saint-Étienne, France—one black and green with a steel buckle, the other all black with a titanium buckle—accompany the watch, complete with French flag details and green stitching.
Limited to 169 pieces, the AM2 “Nyctalope” Carbon is priced at €2,495 and expected to sell out quickly. March LA.B will exhibit at Watches and Wonders from April 14th to 20th, 2026.
