Following the December announcement of its March 4, 2026 premiere, Prime Video has now unveiled the full official trailer and key art for Young Sherlock, the action-packed prequel series exploring the early life of Sherlock Holmes.
Showrunner Matthew Parkhill executive produces alongside Dhana Rivera Gilbert, Marc Resteghini, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Kelton, Colin Wilson, with co-executive producers Harriet Creelman and Steve Thompson. Physical production was handled by Motive Pictures.
Guy Ritchie, who helmed his Sherlock Holmes films with Robert Downey Jr., directs the first two episodes and also executive produces. The trailer emphasizes the vibrant Victorian setting, Sherlock's anarchic youth at 1870s Oxford, his first clash with James Moriarty (Dónal Finn), and a globe-trotting conspiracy sparked by a murder investigation.
Prime Video calls it 'an irreverent, action-packed mystery that charts the legendary origin story of the world’s greatest detective.' The series will launch in over 240 countries worldwide.
